Ethical Conduct

Veritas Asia Pacific Pty Ltd (VERITAS) has articulated the organisation’s Ethical Conduct & Behaviour Policy to provide direction to its management, staff, contract personnel and business partners (collectively termed personnel) to provide clarity and foundation for the delivery of our services.

VERITAS is committed to conducting its business with integrity, transparency, honesty, and to the highest standards of ethical behaviour at all times. VERITAS requires and expects all personnel to abide by the same standards of transparency, integrity and act in an ethical manner. Furthermore, VERITAS personnel will always:

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations ands staturtory obligations relating to ethical behaviour and practices;
  • Act honestly and not engage in misleading, deceptive, fraudulent or corrupt conduct;
  • Ensure the independent conduct of our business and avoid situations with the potential for conflict of interest;
  • Where circumstances arise where there is either a real, potential, or perceived conflict of interest with our client’s activities, VERITAS will declare and report it to the appropriate agency;
  • VERITAs will not offer any inducements, gifts, hospitality, rewards or incentives to our client’s personnel or their agents, to improperly influence the conduct of their duties;
  • Preserve and protect the intellectual property of VERITAS, its business partners, clients and their confidential information;
  • Treat all people fairly and in a manner that provides equal opportunity and prevents harassment, vilification, bullying and unlawful discrimination;
  • Protect individual’s privacy in a manner that is consistent with the law, including the application of workplace surveillance, and prohibited substances & alcohol testing;
  • Use VERITAS’ assets and resources for legitimate VERITAS business purposes; and
  • Ensure VERITAS personnel are aware of this Policy and the need to comply with its contents, when working for or on behalf of VERITAS.

It is the responsibility of all personnel to notify their Engagement Manager and/or Director immediately if they are aware of any actual or potential circumstances where the requirements and intent outlined in this policy is not being followed.
